I'm Creobroter

hey!

I'm Creobroter

Creobroter represents a genus of flower mantises within the tribe Hymenopodini, with a concentration of species in Asia. The nomenclature originates from the Greek roots "kreo-", denoting "flesh," and "broter," signifying "eating," thereby culminating in the apt descriptor "flesh-eating" for this predatory insect. Notably, both male and female individuals possess elongated wings, enabling proficient flight. Adult males attain a length of approximately 3 to 4 cm, while females typically measure between 4 to 5 cm.
